was a special Annapolis Town Hall Meeting of the Annapolis City Council,
sponsored by Alderman Sam Shropshire, who is also a supporter of Anne
Arundel Peace Action. Anne Arundel Peace Action
gave a power point presentation on the Costs of the Iraq War
Costs for the City of Annapolis to Mayor Ellen Moyer and the Annapolis
City Council. We had over 50 attendees to let City Council know how important
this issue is to us. Included discussion on the “Iraq War Costs for Annapolis Citizens
and City Government, a breakdown of Iraq war costs and the affects it
has on departmental budgets and city services. DATE WAS: Mon., June 9th at 6:00 PM LOCATION WAS: City
