Peace Booths

Anne Arundel Peace Action does tabling at community events. The literature and other material at the booths are selected to match the theme of the occasion as well as the chapter's message. These booths have acquainted thousands of people with the chapter's work. These are among the events at which the chapter has had a presence in the past: The Children's Fair in Arnold, the Kunta Kinte Festival in Crownsville, the South County Festival in Tracy's Landing, the Chesapeake Pride Festival in Edgewater, the Come Together Annapolis violence prevention program at City Dock, the Family Fun Fest/Multi-Ethnic Fair in Glen Burnie, the Women's Fair in Odenton, the Anne Arundel County Fair in Crownsville, the Juneteenth Festival at Fort George Meade, the Unity Fair at Anne Arundel Community College, the Anne Arundel County Farmer's Market, and the Annapolis Friends Market. Pictured is Pat Schenck (l) chatting with a visitor to the chapter's table at the Kunta Kinte Festival.
